Collectibles from Around the Globe
We are honored to have received a donation of artifacts belonging to life-long San Franciscan Jean Feilmoser. Jean passed away in June and her collection of international treasures was passed on to the Depot by her dear friend Anita. Honoring Jean, Anita writes:
“Jean’s wanderlust took her to 145+ countries. The trajectory of her life as a proud local, born and raised and still living in San Francisco, anchoring her to this place called home, brought her a lot of joy and extreme pride.
She had been the President of the Mission Merchant’s Association in SF, the President of both the National Federation of Tour Guides Assocation and the San Francisco Tour Guide Guild, the Founder of JWalks, an active member of innumerable community organizations, an intrepid traveler, international and domestic Tour Director, one of the first female taxi drivers in San Francisco, and so much more!
Her forever-inquiring mind was truly interested in the world and how we fit in it.”
Jean’s collection will be featured in the Depot Store starting Friday, October 1.
