Dear Friends of the Depot,
After nearly a year-long hiatus and a lot of anticipation, the East Bay Depot will once again be open for shopping! In the spirit of Valentine’s Day we invite you to join us in spreading some “Bay Love” on February 13 and 14th.
We’ll have a selfie station, card making table, craft kits for kids & adults and freebies for kids & teachers. We also have all the usual suspects in stock, plus carts upon carts of framed art & canvases, a huge supply of fabric on the bolt, and for the first time ever we will be selling our wooden wine box collection.
On Presidents’ Day, Monday, February 15th we will be open exclusively to teachers. We want to give our educators a chance to restock on materials but to also chat with our team to let us know how we can better assist you in your current teaching conditions and as you return to the classroom.
While we haven’t yet finalized our future opening days, hours, store layout, staffing levels, new product offerings etc., we still want to give our loyal customers (YOU!) a chance to do some long-awaited shopping. In the coming weeks we hope to reopen the donation dock, increase our open days/hours, offer private in-store shopping, and launch our online store. We will notify you via email, or check our Instagram, Facebook and website for these updates.
Our key concern in reopening is for the health and safety of our staff and our customers. We adhere to the Alameda County retail guidelines for social distancing and limiting the number of people in the store based on our square footage. Masks will be required for visitors and staff, and non-cash transactions are encouraged. We are not accepting material donations at this time. Please see our complete COVID policy HERE.
Reopening dates & hours:
Saturday, February 13th, 12-6pm
Sunday, February 14th, 12-6pm (“Will you be my Valentine?” sale: 50% off all store items)
Monday, February 15th, 12-6pm (Teachers only, 50% off sale continues)
